spacious, spacious, spacious
I stayed in a Suite that was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with plenty of delicious options, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt at home. Parking was easy at just 5 euros a night.
recommend 😊❤️

The room was large and impeccably clean, with lovely amenities including a private bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was really good, boasting a variety of hot and cold options, highlighted by a live omelette cooking station.
The hotel is located on a busy road.

Large, spacious rooms with great breakfast options.
Upon arrival, I found the room safe was broken and dismantled, made me uncomfortable about leaving my belongings. The wifi strength was weak in my room, only usable near the door. I also encountered two lights that were non-functional, though they were fixed after reporting. These nuisances put a damper on my overall experience.

the hotel was really nice, the only problem was we wanted to eat at the hotel on Saturday evening but they had booked for a private party, so we had to travel into the town centre with my elderly mother (86). They could have put us in the corner as the resturant was not full.

The breakfast was quite good and the staff were friendly.
Its a 15 minute walk from the town centre which can be quite a trek, expecially late at night. Its also quite a distance from the nearest shops should you need anything. If you are looking to stay central then book somewhere else, although sauing that the hotel was still very nice. It suited me as it is a short walk from the train station which i used to get in and out of Bratislava.

The staff provided really good customer service from check-in to check-out, ensuring a cute atmosphere. Rooms were large, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds. The noise from the mobile air conditioning unit was quite distracting, and the lack of a kettle in the room would have been a nice addition. Easy access to public transportation made exploring the surrounding area convenient, although navigating with heavy luggage can be a challenge.

Great location. Within easy walking distance to many attractions! The breakfast had fantastic options, especially the grilled eggs! Staff was super attentive.
A kettle in the room would have been a nice touch. And the walk to the main sights was a bit longer than expected.

It is located close to Bratislava Main Railway Station.
Their restaurant had just closed [its kitchen] when I arrived slightly late but I was refused any meal service [not even to the room - NB the hotel room service meal menu did not state any finishing time either.]. The hotel [reception] were then unable to recommend anywhere else to go to eat apart from a vague "go into the city" [which is some distance away] - not very helpful if you aren't that familiar with Bratislava... Another group of travellers turned up about two hours later [i.e. close to midnight] and were put on the same floor [of the three available in the fairly empty hotel] and then made loud disturbing noises until after midnight.

The hotel is located within a walking distance (or a very short ride on public transport) of the Old Town and all the main tourist attractions. Also, it is less than a 10-minute walk from the Main Train Station. Staff is very friendly and helpful, high level of service. Premises are in very good condition. The room I stayed in was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and a wine shop. A very useful additional option is an MP3 guide with recorded information about the city. Overall, quite affordable and very good value for the money. If I ever come to Bratislava again, I'm definitely going to stay at Matysak.
It was a bit noisy at times. Whenever someone talked outside my room, I could hear them. The restaurant staff spoke very little English, but the menu was in English, so that was not a big problem. Breakfast cost an additional 8EUR per day, but was pretty good. There was a bit too much furniture for the room size I got. But overall, these are just little things that did not spoil my experience at all.

Great for a city trip. The sign says 3 stars but my room was more like 4 stars! Conveniently close to the main train station and excellent hotel restaurant...the beef ribs were great. VERY handy hotel for someone who needs to be close to the train station. Good internet connection in room

I asked for a quiet room, but the heavy traffic could be hear during whole night, so I cannot sleep well. I came 7.05 for brekfast because my train was leaving in half an hour but the breakfast was not prepered yet. For 8 Euro extra, the breakfast was very poor.
